The Liberty Program
The Liberty Program is a key component of this new initiative. The program has two distinct platforms, Liberty Weekend and Liberty Series. The Weekend was developed by the Scholarship and Youth Work Foundations for Union League Good Citizenship Award recipients. Students spend a weekend at the Union League and explore political and economic ideas with scholars, students and League leaders. The Abraham Lincoln Foundation presents The Liberty Series, a five-part lecture series that features internationally-known scholars, policy makers and thought-leaders.
